    its really funny i was doing about 400 x strokes on the 1k last night with 3 layers of tape
    now this morning i could see a slight inprovement but not much now just done 25 strokes on the dmt 325 and it cuts arm hair the change between not sharp and cutting is a fine line lol

    try circles all the way down...and then switch sides..you can do it with the 325 also..I have ate away blades down to straight in no time doing that. Of course I am no honmiester..I'm just a guy who can only afford chewed blades and then fix them for my own.

    I was thinking just a pic of the blade. You know how it goes when you have a problem with one thing and you automatically try to rule that 1 thing out moving forward. The first blade I bread knifed to get rid of a frown ended with too much metal removed the blade couldn't be honed without removing some of the stabilizer. A pic of the blade would make this clear as to if this is an issue or not. I spent 3 days honing the blade before I posted a pic and found out the problem. Don't give up, I'm sure you will get it there soon

    Just be careful you don't hone another frown into the blade. If it had a bad frown with equally bad spine wear remember that the spine determines the edge so you may need to even up the spine a little too or if you like tape you may need to add extra tape in different areas but I find that a PITA so I prefer to correct the spine if possible.
