    Just list it on eBay as "very rare, with a notch in the blade to help navigate problem areas". I believe it's called a philtrum notch...

    Even thought its marked "J. R. Torrey Razor Co, Worcester, MASS" on the tang, the chip on the blade and what appears to be a very small crack on the blade decided me to put this razor in my storage box for some future days project, or possibly pass it on to someone more experienced with this type of repair. Thanks for all suggestions.
