It might be because the razor is apparently "Loosely inspired by firearms". Never really thought about it until you said something. It's also interesting that that one has jimps and that the 45th anniversary one does not.

I decided to skip on this for now. The engraving on the blade put me over the edge of not getting it. Instead, I just bought a Dovo best quality 6/8 from SRD for a backup razor. I gotta get my main one sent out to Lynn to get sharpened.

Hart steel has recently begun offering some of it's razors with jimps and also a square point razor, but as far as I know that is a fairly recent development maybe it started after they built this model for Baxter? Originally Posted by Fbones24
