    Default Livi razors ?

Ok I really have a lust on for one of this guys razors but I need to know how to purchase one from him. I do not live in the the Americas I live in Asia , his website is a bit wonky as far as I can see/ but it does have a place for shipping but no page to order from, at this price level he would not be getting tons of random BS orders I think.
so must I order from USA or go to his shop in order to procure one of his masterpieces?

Any information or assistance is appreciated

    cheers.

Email him at livicoltellerie@libero.it His son speaks English and will respond (although not necessarily straight away).

I ordered an 8/8 Takeda steel razor from him and it should be arriving soon

Keep on rocking Claude, good luck on that razor.

Do you have to pay a tax levy on razors in the UK?

Ya I have emailed him and no reply so far I was hoping to get it before Christmas but .......

Not if they are imported from the EU.

Do bear in mind that if you order from SRD you will get clobbered with an import tax which you'll have to pay prior to taking delivery of the razor.

When I ordered about $300 worth of kit from SRD the tax was about £45 so a $1000 razor will be £130+.

Ya gots to love the Inland Revenue!

I would definately go the same route as Claude and order from him directly if at all possible, if only to avoid handing HM Treasury another wad of cash!

Its very annoying because SRD give great service and have a huge range of awesome kit available, I'd love to order from them more, but our damn government will take a slice of whatever the package is worth when it comes over which makes large or frequent orders from any non-EU company much more expensive.

    Stu,

OUCH ... I am living in China and just recently they have decided to tax ( 18-25 % luxury ) incoming items not only this but I dont even know if they will allow the other razors I have ordered to come in the country as the regulations are changing day by day.

His European agent is www.1barber.be. I bought mine from here. Also as you live outside the EU you get the VAT of about 20% off the price. You can see what you like on the Livi website and then order through 1barber at the Livi price as per his price list on his site.

Try the Classifieds or BST on B&B, I've recently seen some people selling Livis. That way you can avoid paying taxes, by declaring as used razor with a lower value.

    Good luck!
