At the moment my best shaver is also a Dubl Duck satingedge.. Or a Greaves & Sons wedge if I have a 3-4 day beard.

a non-desript filly blank, or at least im pretty sure shes a filly. only thing stamped on it was that it was made in spain, in the same way the others are stamped, and "koken" which beats me.

I really really enjoyed my Mappin Lancet Edge and my DePews Perfect Razor... those were the last two I shaved with.

Big Joe (pictured) is my favourite. Next in line is my John Watts "B4 Any - Super Razor" seven-day set.

I've had several more "fancy" razors, customs, etc. But these old Sheffield razors still work best for me.

I sold my best western razor. It was a 'Black Demon'. German made 5/8 spike.
Lately I'm enjoying my 2 kamisori an Iwasaki & a Kobayashi.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

For german steel it would have to be my 13/16 square point KAMA,and my 7/8 Greaves Frameback for Sheffields.
