I really like the PKs, but it's about what you like, not what I like.

Thanked: 1936The lifetime honing thing will pay for the razor over time...that type of deal is awesome! You should go with whatever you REALLY want. My first new razor was a bismarck in bone honed by Lynn...it is still a great shaver. It's one of those razors that loves to nibble on ear lobes if you don't keep it on a leash!

I'd say the 1/4 hollow, just to try the opposite end of the spectrum.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

If your budget is 300.00 I'd personally go after a Filarmonica Doble Temple 13 from eBay...
Otherwise you cannot go wrong with the Dovo Prima Klang. A large number of people I have crossed paths with regard this blade as Dovo's best new production blade.
Again, if you're looking for a new production shaver a 6/8 Thiers Issard form Art of Shaving would also be a solid choice.
Cheers
Josh
