This is all I have so far. The first pic is from the 2nd edition.

This second pic is from the 3rd edition. The asterisk just means there was a pic of it but I didn't see it in the 2nd edition or I missed it.

I'm still looking through my Razor Anthology because it has a lot of information to read about different companies for example Lakeside Cutlery used M.W. & Co for Montgomery Ward & Co.

I would say that is Rahaim and Moshey/Malhami. Celluloid Beetle scales and etched German blade from turn-of-century.

These R M & Co razors seem to date from mid 1800's to my eye.

I would have to agree with you on that Tom. The R M & Co razors look much older.

Best to keep digging. I seem fixated on the Macy idea, though. Cannot find an 1859 business directory for Haverhill, Mass which I can begin to look at the way the names are put forth. If I could see a Rowland Macy and Co, or a Robert Macy and Co, it may be there?
It seems one must be subscribed to libraries, ancestry sites to glean necessary info.

I agree with you Tom. I would bet it is them.

Wow! A thing I thought of was Rahaim and Moshey/Malhami. They rolled for a very short time. looks like WWI must have got them. Quite collectible, I suppose!

Tom, I almost thought I struck pay dirt here because I just found a website I have never seen before but is very informative. It surprised me a lot because it has a lot of razor makers in it, so many, I need to go back over some of my straights & have a closer look at them. I found 8 listings on Parkin by itself here. I was going through some of my straights & I found a Wade & Butcher that has T. B. M. & Co. from Baltimore, MD on it.

Certainly seems a great resource, Steve! Bookmarked!
However, I think we are looking for a retailer here. The actual maker might never be known?

Tom, I bookmarked it plus I sent the link to myself in an email. It is a good resource! I'm still looking through it & it seems pretty informative about different makers. I agree about your saying we're looking for a retailer here.

I even saw some French razor makers which seem hard for me to find info on except for Theirs Issard.
