You know, if you're still reading this thread, I notice you said you're getting tired of the whole shaving cream routine. Sounds like you're using canned goo ?

What type of razor are you using now ? If you're still with cartridges and canned goo try a soap puck and a shaving brush with a DE and later with a shave ready quality straight. We all got tired of the goo and the disposables.

Whipping up a lather with a good brush, soap and/or cream, and shaving with a quality DE or straight razor made shaving something most of us look forward to rather than dread. If you haven't already given it a try do so. Once the learning curve is behind you you'll be glad you did.
