i think Jimmy and others right about contact the seller and ask for refund.
i bought recently very nice razor and never read the description.
after getting the blade find out it had crack .
went back read the description guess what?
seller mention exact location and size of the crack.
i took lost and leave very nice positive feedback for the seller because of his honesty.
This is not your case. Seller never mentions about the crack and he should be able to accept his item back.
if not then go head leave negative feedback .

Buying a SR off eBay can be a real crap shoot, as you've found out. Best advice would be to visit the Classifieds here on SRP or head over to WhippedDog. You'll find some very nice restored razors, that will arrive shave ready at great prices. I've purchased from both and couldn't be happier. I got a Rodgers 5/8 square tip from the Classifieds for $50 and a Eyre 4/8 round tip from WhippedDog for $26. Not a single issue with the purchase, quality of the razor or the customer service from the sellers.

In my book a crack is 0/100 shave ready, so even a logarithmic scale of appraisal won't get it to 75/100.

Contact the seller for a refund first and if the seller isn't interested, then open aPaypal dispute and you'll get you money back.

Yes, that was my thought too. It'll never be shave ready, so saying it's "75/100 shave ready" is just wrong.

Most likely an innocent mistake by a seller who's not an expert in razors. But still... it's simply not as described.

He'll most likely offer a refund.

    Default Thats a real shame

I agree with what has been suggested, and contact the seller with a request for refund for item not as described. I did this with a cell phone, when I ruined mine in a fire and was not ready for a new one on my contract yet, and they (paypal) backed me and the seller returned the money. I have also won another dispute on e-bay but there was no money for paypal to take from the sellers account. It can go both ways but you can, at minimum stop that seller from ripping anyone else off. I'd say go for it and the go shopping.
