Tonight I shaved with the Hoffritz for the first time since Glen honed it. It's frighteningly sharp, and it bit me a couple of times. Because it had to be breadknifed the tip is a bit more aggressive than it was and she reminded me of it once. I will pay more attention next time. Or change my last name to Van Gogh.

I got a good shave, barley 70 or 75 cuts, and got BBS on the jaws and cheek, not so much on the chin and mustache, where I had problems getting the blade caught several times; this is likely my lack of skill rather than the blade.

This blade was particularly nice to my neck, where it elicited no redness or irritation.

Once I get the hang of this I think it will be a great blade to shave with.

I'm worried because Glen told me the Garland took a better edge than this one. It will probably shave without taking it out of the box, if the edge on this one is any indication.
