No matter how many razors you get you will find that you will always need just one more.

I'm a newb and I have 4 (well 4 in my posession and one in the mail).

I am stopping at seven and have made a bargain with myself that I will sell off one before buying an eighth. Time will tell if I can stick to that bargain because when I started a mere 4 weeks ago I thought I would only need one razor.

Before started I used the 'cheaper than mach 3' argument to convince myself. Cheaper? pffff.
Now I use the 'restoring classic cars is more expensive' argument to justify my addiction.

I've flyfished for years, and built three or four of my rods. I'm not sure how many I have; it's that bad. There's a spey blank still waiting construction. When I started upland bird hunting, I made a very hard promise to myself not to go with shotguns where I went with fly rods. When you could buy another gun or roof the house for the same amount, it's an AD well out of my range.

Razors are a reasonable outlet, as these things go. My wife hasn't said "Boo" yet, though she doesn't know about the cache under the bathroom sink.

That's a brilliant idea. Now I know exactly what to do with the picks that I wear out. Superb.
