My first order from SRD: a blond DOVO best quality
Hi, I am new for straight shaving. I have bought 4 razors off EBAY.
Since I value my face so much, which will be exposed to that thin
blade, I decided that I 'd better start it with a good blade sharpened
by reputable people like Lynn and/or Don at SRD.
The wife would killed me if she found out that I spent so much
on just removing facial hairs.

Thanked: 5Wait! Don't forget to tell her how much you will be saving in the long run...assuming you don't get any of the various addictions which so few on this site seem to have.

I am not sure what you are referring to about the rare addictions. But I smoke, using three typewriters, and love straight knife, and many other things. I did not realized the actual costs associated with straight shaving. It is hard to be straight these days.

You certainly picked a good place to buy a str8 razor. If the wife gives you trouble, just remind her there are certain times when she will appreciate a close shave. I refer to it at times as the "BBT" which you won't find in the Wiki.

Thanked: 993Tell the wife your Dovo included a free honing....a deal that you could hardly pass up. If that doesn't work, cook some dinners or something nice to score some brownie points.
