Man! I really love the look of the worked edge on that beauty! They just dont make them like that anymore, such craftsmanship and design!

Thanked: 1My guess is the previous owner rinsed it in battery acid after every shave.
That, or he used it for chopping rocks.

It is obvious the prior owner needed a barbas duras razor.
I think I will inquire if he'll make it shave ready before shipping.

I don't see the issue here. So it has a bit of rust on the blade, but a nice restore should take care of that. Just restore it, hone it up, strop it (can I borrow your strop for a little bit?) and give it the old shave test.

A little sandpaper, a little polish and voila! You have a shiny POS.
