Thanked: 4yes it was quite ugly. I wanted a pretty trashed razor to restore. A relatively nice one would just be too easy, right? lol. but, from what I could tell,(there were several pics) there were no nicks in the blade. I'm hoping that the tarnish and rust can be removed without taking off too much metal, and it would be a real treat if it doesn't have any pitting. I've never restored a razor before, but I'd like to try my hand at it. I think I can do some really neat things with the scales in wood, because wood is one thing I know. Maybe mail it to a senior moderator for inspection to gain some credibility here With this project, though, its going to be 99% wiki, 1% forum, because as much as I enjoy just asking questions and interacting with people, I can see that I'm really irritating some, (still unclear why?) and would rather lay low than get banned and lose access to all this valuable information.
