Excellent shave w/ Wade & Butcher
Just got in a Wade & Butcher today from an ebay win. It came from the guy's Father's estate as an inheritance. He had over 100 razors of all kind and most were very well taken care of. This one was no exception. I got it in the mail, and tonight I honed it with tape on spine, from 1000 all the way though the Chinese 12K. Before I stropped it, actualy before I went past 1000 it was popping hairs. After stropping I shaved a most luxuriant shave with it. Cut nice and clean, no scrapes, cuts or nicks and quite smooth. Defenitely a keeper for $15.50.
Shaves like a champ, and honed up very nice. The pictures look kind of crude, but I assure it it has a wonderful bevel all along the edge and the flash and lighting sort of makes it look less appealing than what is in in real life. "The Celebrated Extra Hollow Ground" , Agent was W. H. Pobjoy of Liverpool England.
No pulling or tugging, chin shaved nice along with around the lips. Can't ask for any more than that, huh?~~ Vern ~~
I was born with nothing and managed to keep most of it.

Congrats on a nice (and inexpensive) pick up.
One of these days I hope I'll get that lucky on the bay!

Thanked: 993I love shaving with my W&B's. They never let me down. Glad you found one on the cheap and it's living up to the standard.
