Thanked: 0Which should I keep?
I'd like to hone one of these razors and use as my regular and sell the other. I really don't need them both. The one on the left is a Koch & Schafer KAMA 23 and the one on the right is a Brummel-Werk 35. The Brummel-Werk appears to be in slightly better shape, but I know nothing about either of these razors. I'm sure either will be a nice step up from my entry-level razor. What do you guys think?

Thanked: 3795Hone them both. Shave with one for a week and then shave with the other for a week. In my opinion that would be the best way to decide.

I would say if these are the only 2 you have to keep them both just in case something happens to the other one

While you only have one face, you WILL need numerous razors. If you send one out to be honed, you still need one to shave with. What if you ding the blade on the faucet, you'll be glad you have a spare razor. I say keep both and let the hording commence.

Keep the KAMA, everything I've read about these has all been positive, There well respected razors ! Ive also read where the Brummel is a fine razor as well, I'd keep the KAMA if I could only keep one. JMHO though

If you sell one now; later you'll wish you had not sold it.

I would definitely keep both!
It is so worth it for a good many reasons.
That said, if you are going thru with only having one, I would keep the Brummel.
Edit:
If you ding it on the faucet
If you Send it out for honing
If you drop it on the floor
If you like a bit of change every now and then
If you want one to compare your own honing with
A few of the good reasons for keeping bothLast edited by Birnando; 04-27-2011 at 09:09 AM. Reason: adding reasons for both

I don't think I've ever met someone that had 2 razors and wanted to sell one because they didn't need both.
