In 1927, 1928 and 1916, when the market was almost every shaver, worldwide? I don't doubt it. In 2011, when straight razor users number maybe into the thousands worldwide? I just don't see it.

Pretty Nice Looking!
I am fairly new to straight razors but that looks like a pretty good razor. If it shaves as good as it looks, it would be a keeper.

I doubt it's fake for reasons all the above posters mentioned. I'd send it to one of the pro honers here. If there are an deficient qualities to blade they would know.
Lots good to me though!

Get it sharpened and shave with it. You look like you've got a great razor (really, those Friodurs can be something else).

No Mike! Don't shave with that thing! It will tear up your skin and give you anthrax and radiation poisoning!
Send it to me. Iowa has a little known radioactive anthrax killing razor recycling program. I'll take care of it, and you'll never have to see that thing or worry about it again. (Send me any others you find too...for the greater public good!)
