Default Shelf to hold straight razors

I just finished this shelf yesterday to hold and display my razors in the bathroom. The one in the middle was my dad's and I put new scales on it but they are a little wide to fit the slot I cut. But all in all I am please with it. It is made out of mahogany. Name: shelf.jpg

Nice looking shelf. I'm using a toothbrush stand from Target that holds 3 but don't look nearly that cool.

Nice work! Much snazzier than the test-tube stands I use.

That looks really good. Much nicer then my plastic cup that holds my straights. Well done.

That looks great, the design reminds me of a pipe rack...

...which gives me an idea: these guys make custom pipe racks, I bet they could be commissioned to make something for razors, say with a little drawer for touch-up hones beneath.

I have one of their racks and it is very well made.

    Seconded.

I would suggest making that middle slot wider to accommodate the larger scaled razor. In that upside-down position, if the pivot pin were to loosen over time, it might come tumbling down
