Thanked: 1Vintage, or new?
Which do you prefer, and why?
Being new, I'm leaning towards vintage, since inheriting an old straight razor is what brought me here.

In general vintage is where the true quality is and the history is icing on the cake. Having said that there is also something very nice about getting a brand spanking new razor. The best of both worlds would be to get a NOS vintage still sealed in is original wrappings.
