    Default Vintage, or new?

Which do you prefer, and why?
Being new, I'm leaning towards vintage, since inheriting an old straight razor is what brought me here.

This poll really needs one more option.

You can only use one at a time (unless you're a LOT braver than I am)

I only own new, I don't have any thing against vintage just felt the survey was one sided.

+1. I can't exclude one or the other. Both have their place in my accumulation.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Melt your old razors down and have a new razor forged to rule them all.

In general vintage is where the true quality is and the history is icing on the cake. Having said that there is also something very nice about getting a brand spanking new razor. The best of both worlds would be to get a NOS vintage still sealed in is original wrappings.
