I can't find a way to email this guy, but it doesn't matter anyway, I saw his other products and they are all trash. It is clear this person is a junk monger.

Just speaking of razors I've been seeing some really good blades at bargain prices in the SRP classifieds here lately. Might be worth a looksee in there.

Ok, first off...I'm still new-ish. I just got my razor set by Lynn and I'm on my 5th shave. I didn't even know this place had a classified. O MY GOD THE DEALS! Now I need to know....why are their so many expensive ass blades on there for prices like $40-$50. What is the catch, why are they selling them for so cheap? I already see some things * really want and for a price no o.e in their right mind could walk away from. so I need to know why these $150-$300+ toys are being sold for $40-$50.......

They're only $300 on ebay, where foolish people drive the prices up.
The classifieds tend to have much better prices, because there isn't cutthroat profiteering going on-- for the most part...

Just IMHO, what an ebay seller will access a razor's value at is different than what a veteran SRP member will look for. In general, if you know what you're doing, you'll find fair prices and better deals in he classifieds. OTOH, if you are looking for a specific brand or type you may need to go to ebay or antiquing to find it. In that case you pay what the traffic will bear and take your chances. Get a small rotation and beware of RAD.

I did see a $300 8/8 that I wanted....just didn't want to spend that kind of money. I will be looking through the classifieds here for the next hour or so

I meant I saw a $300 8/8 on eBay, but didn't want to pay the price.

You will find that the adds in SRP are what experienced shavers are willing to sell their stuff for so other "shavers", not just collectors, will be able to obtain Quality razors at a fair price. Their intrest is not in getting rich, but to feed the desire and and education of those wanting to shave with straights, and to experience what our fathers and grandfathers did in the way of daily grooming. We even have one member who in the adds requests that some of his razors should benefit the new guys, and for experienced shavers to leave them for the new guys. GREAT IDEA Best regards and Happy Shaving, wildhog
