Default What Razor Did You Use Today?

    Good Day Everyone,

As the topic suggests, what razor did you use today for your shave?

I'm having an indecisive day on what razor I want to use. Below is my modest list of Razors, if you'd like to help me choose one for the day it would be greatly appreciated

    1. TI 5/8 French nose Rams Scale
    2. TI 13/16 Spanish Point Eagle Brand
    3. Dovo 5/8 Round Point All Stainless
    4. Boker 5/8 Round Point Edelweiss
    5. The Wapienica

I used a Voos 1/4 wedge in spike point...you should use the one that is next in the rotation...

You can technically call two razors a rotation as you aren't using the same razor every day. It doesn't take 7 or more...once you have shaved with a razor it goes to the bottom of the rotation & when you are ready to shave you shave with the at the top of the rotation.

i see lol. i'll start that today. i shaved with the wapi last. so i'll make sure thats the bottem. then the next one up from the wapi would be the boker. i can't remember what i shaved with before that. maybe the dovo. to be honest its not my best shaver. it seems to tug and pull more than the others. oh decisions decisions lol

If a razor is starting to tug a bit, give it 6-10x on the barber stone and a full stropping. Then shave with it. If it's not quite right, repeat the following day on the same razor...but keep it on the top of the rotation until it's shaving properly again and then let it "rotate" to the bottom.

I ended up using my TI ram's scale. Had a pretty decent shave for me. Just a little irritation and a couple small nicks feels smooth though lol

Gillette '59 Fatboy with Israeli Personna Red Packs. First shave with the IPs. Man are they nice. Second shave with C.O. Bigelow cream. Starting to like it, just not a fan of menthol. Worked around it for too many years in the tobacco industry.
