Dubl Duck SatinWedge
While out and about Sunday antique shopping I came across a DD SatinWedge 5/8. What is nice was not only was it in decent shape, it came with the original sleeve.
With a bit of clean up.
Honed it up last night and used it today. Makes for a real nice shaver.

At the time they were the last factory made wedge type razors. They made them specifically because barbers requested them to do it. They are bit less common than the others. The Special Wedge was an older one and is really rare. You have a nice one there.

I got one of these from Don & Lynn a while back.
GREAT shave and takes a super sharp edge while shaving with great comfort.
Excellent score... Congrats !

Then they moved to Jamaica, N.Y and continued there so any Pearlduck could well be from the 60s. Usually the plastic wrapped ones were the latest. The DD name by the way still exists as an operating outfit or at least did the last time I checked a couple years ago. It wound up as a seller of dog grooming supplies.
