Default What's the razor(s) of your dreams?

    Let's make some porn

As the title indicates I want to see the razors you dream of!

If you're better half didn't care, and you had Scrooge McDuck's money bin, and could buy which razors you'd want, which would it be?

    Show or tell us!

If you already own one or several of your dream razors.....

To use Rodney Carrington's words of wisdom: SHOW THEM TO ME!

It would be rude of me to ask you to show me your's without showing you mine, so I'll start:

One of my dream razors I already got, a Wacker Antik 15/16

The second is going to be a secret until it's finished

Other than that I dream of one day getting a Mastro Livi custom, about any vintage Filarmonica #14, a Buddel and maybe a Alex Jaques.

    Your turn!

I already have mine - a Korff & Honsberg "Dos Angelitos" with engraved spine and tang.

Why haven't I posted a pic? Because it has the original ebony scales on it that look pretty industrial: too thick, not sanded enough, utilitarian shape. In short, completely horrible.

    Regards,
    Neil

I've got 'em all.... all the razors of my dreams that is..... which doesn't mean I won't be getting more, but I have the ones I used to lust after. Too many to list BTW.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    All the ones Jimmy has.
I'd like to make my own one day, out of the iron rich sand near Las Vegas.
Possibly a big Heljestrand in tortoise too.

All razors, that I have, are razors of my dreams ...I leave to myself just such razors.

Somewhere between 1969(when I started straight shaving) and now I missed the train to collecting. While I obtained a lot of razors over the years, I never thought of myself as a collecter. Only in the last couple of years did I start to purchase razors for collection sake. I suppose that my dream razor is not just one razor, but a brand that I chose for every day use many years ago. That being JA Henckels. I have a good number of them in different sizes, grinds, and shapes. That being said, my favorite is a plain jane 5\8 full hollow spike. I would post pics, but I just bought my first digital camera two weeks ago and havn"t learned how to use it yet. Yep, you guessed it, I don"t have a cell phone either. Very Best Regards and Happy Shaving, wildhog

PS to above thread. I learned on a Boker KK 5\8 spike with little mute on toe, so I also have a soft spot for any Boker. Best, wildhog

Well, I'm not really chomping at the bit for any particular razor however I'd sure like to find that DD Napoleon but I don't think that's gonna happen any time soon.
