Default 6/8 Wacker "Keilschliff" Wedge Ground Round Point

I finally got around to honing this one the way I like it and shaving with it. This is one SMOOTH shaver. It may become my favorite shaver soon. The 6/8 size is much easier to shave with compared to my larger razors, yet heavy enough that I use no pressure at all, the razor does all the work. This morning I got a perfect BBS shave with this beauty and SRD Blood Orange Soap. This one is rising quickly to the top of my 7 day team! Top row, middle razor.

I plan to finish all my razors next week with a new JNat and will redo my rankings!

Hello, carazor: That Wacker "Keilschliff" is a sweet razor. I have it in the double set and love it. Good choice.

We should get together some time and compare rolls. I love it!

I don't think you are supposed to say that to other men...

    Obie,

How does the wedge compare with the 1/4 hollow in that set?

Hello, carazor: They don't have that much of a difference between them, really. One is Spanish point and the other round, and they are sweet shavers. I love the way the blade hugs my Hollywood face.

    Obie,

I've been toying with the idea of having Herr Wacker make me a custom 7 day set, with custom spine and finish work. Just not sure which blade profile I want yet. I'm going to try his "special" geometry next to compare.
