Mackay, damn that is one of the nicest parts of the world and you traded it in for Sincity.

Dull and old scales are still cooler than band-aids and scabs :P
Check the classifieds. There are many trustworthy sellers offering shave ready, less asthetically pleasing str8s. Good luck, friend.

Pauly don't remind me, I want to go home so bad but now I have a tether here in the form of a female lol

Also true on the scales, but I was more thinking of some kind of display frame. Probably never do it though :P

    That looks very nice MrIdentical.
I picked up an old spoon cabinet at the markets on Sunday for $5.00.
Once it is restored it will hold < 20 razors I should think.
SWMBO has already given permission for it to be mounted on the bathroom wall....yippeee

I see a lot of Australian razor sellers on our Classifieds. That's your best bet for a shave-ready vintage blade. Good luck with it.

I would advise against storing your razors in the bathroom . The humidity from the shower , won't be good for the blades .

Thanks for the great info in this thread boys, now I'm off to check out eBay and the classifieds here with a bit of a better idea what to look for!

Nice to know there are heaps of Aussies on these forums too :-) I suspect it might be a bad time to be trying to bid for a cheap razor on eBay though, thanks to Underbelly Razor, doh! Haha...

Mine live in the bathroom now and I don't have any issues so far 'cause I keep them oiled well and at the other end of the room in a cabinet around 5m, two windows and an exhaust fan away from the shower.

There are a few more in this now.
I was also going to seal the doors with some of that foam tape and put a few silical gel bags in there just to be on the safe side.
Hang on and enjoy the ride...
