Been there, done that! I really like shaving with a different razor each time. I'm just having trouble noting which had not been used since last year easily and quickly. Oh well...

Yup, Me three! I do like to shave with therazors I've restored and I will not pass up a good deal on another. Again, My children will be ahead in a few years. Money don't last nor does pleasure; howsomever, I am still trying!

What I restore, I use for a while and then I sell it. The hobby pays for itself. My wife doesn't mind because she knows it's a zero sum hobby.

    Hello,

Im glad to see Im not the only one. I like the idea of restoring, using it for a while, then sell it at a reasonable price. That will be my excuse.

    Thanks,

    Chris

At some point you have to take a step back and evaluate whether you're still in control or not.
As long as you have a plan and a realistic budget, you're fine.

But I've known guys who got to the point of having stuff shipped to work to make sure their wives didn't see yet another package come in every week. People who just keep buying and buying without a real plan or purpose, just to get the next 'Yes, I won the auction' fix.

At that point it's no longer a hobby but a disease.

    Bruno,

No worries Im going to be too busy restoring the 4 I have coming. Luckily Im paying for school so I don't have a lot of money to blow on hobbies.

    Keep'em sharp,

    Chris
