Thread: Joseph Elliot: ID and dating help needed

Newbie here, so sorry if this is a no-brainer.

Picked up this razor in Finland in maybe 1995 to use for shaving an African drum head. I understand that Joseph Elliot was a Sheffield, UK, maker of quality blades. Could someone please give an educated guess as the quality, vintage and value ($US)? The only markings are what you can see in the photo -- what remains of "Joseph Elliot" and a "C". There are no markings visible on the back or along the spine.
