I don't have a lot of doubles, let alone many by the same manufacturers. The multiples I do have seem to come in pairs: C.V. Heljestrand, E.A. Berg, F.W. Söderén (Eskilstuna); Andersson (Malmö), although I'm not even 100% sure they're by the same Anders(s)on.
I noticed early on into this hobby that I was, quite indiscriminately, amassing razors. So to avoid hoarding a gigantic pile but still enjoying the acquisition of razors, I decided to focus on collecting Swedish razors by as many different manufacturers as possible. One nice one by each manufacturer, possibly doubles if I find a second really nice specimen at a decent price (I refuse to pay silly money for razors) or if they appear in a lot (but I tend to get rid of those, as Swedish razors tend to already be rather similar among manufacturers and quite utilitarian).
I have a few Sheffields, two Japanese ones, some Solingens (which I tend to reach for most often), but again, those are special; either very nice specimens, gifts from friends, or both.
tl;dr: I like my collection to have a point, rather than me ending up as some sort of Scrooge McRazor.
Regards,
Pieter
