Thread: WHATS YOUR RECORD?

I nick myself now and again, but last night was the first time I've cut myself in months. I was using a TI. I don't remember the name of it, but it's a spanish point with a worked back. It is a very long razor. My wife distracted me and I sliced my earlobe. It was a bleeder.

I rarely nick myself anymore, so I don't know.

Thanked: 335I had a serious cut a couple of years ago, but it involved a thumb and a table saw. Comparatively, razors have been pretty tame.

I'm almost ashamed to say I never had a nasty cut. I've had nicks, and surface cuts, but never a deep cut, either in my face or hands... So I'd say my streak is some half century or so (of course, I exaggerate greatly, because for three and a half decades I didn't really need to shave )

Thanked: 1195If you can't remember the last cut you've had you've got a good record
About two weeks ago I gave myself a slice nearly an inch long and about as deep as a papercut, it didn't bleed much and didn't require the styptic; pretty superficial. Honestly though, I can't remember the last time I had a cut before that, it was some time ago. I tend to just shave and move on.

Thanked: 03 weeks, and it was 2 nicks and 1 semi-cut on my cursed cleft chin. So hard to shave it, especially as a beginner.

Thanked: 522Around 1969 I came home at 2:00 AM and decided I needed a shave. Believe it or not, I was only about three sheets into the wind and as I began my first shaving stroke on the top of my cheek, I put the nastiest gash possible right into my cheek skin. That scar lasted at least 10 years.
Since then there have been no major bloodbaths and I count myself lucky. Yo, knock on wood!!!
And yes, I am the guy who hasn't nicked a strop since 1971. Just ask deerhunter1995. He'll tell you.
