WHATS YOUR RECORD?
I just read how to cut yourself, and it really cracked me up.But it also brought back the memory of my last really bad cut,Took off a chunk right below my side burn ,which took a Kotex to stop the bleeding-I kid you not, also the scar it left lasted at least ten years. I remember when it happened because my son had just turned two.Anyway-I have been VERY careful since and just ruined a 19 year streak with no cuts,a couple of weepers but no cuts, when a couple of weeks ago,I learned a new way,-don't pay attention when placing the blade to your face,I had just honed this one and sunk the tip right into my face before I even felt it,and ruined the longest streak in my life. So the question is how long has YOUR longest streak gone? Tiny nicks or weepers we will let pass, how long have you gone without a CUT?

Thanked: 94I'm on a two month streak, which is pretty good since I've been doing this for less than a year. However by saying that guarantees that I will bleed tomorrow.

2 days. I plan on shaving tomorrow and starting from scratch again. Damn little bumps on my face that keep getting taken down the to flat face.

I try not to take note of such things. I haven't had a serious cut in a very long time.

Thanked: 46This thread brings back BAD memories!!! I learned from a barber in 1969 and he tought me well as I never cut myself. ( small nicks don't count ) Well, in about 1984-5 I had a barber friend who cut my hair every two weeks, but we also hunted and fished togather. Well, one day, a Saturday morning, I went in for my hair cut and he said he had just bought a new razor. It was a NOS C-Mon and he had already honed it and the razor was ready to go.
He offered a free shave and I said sure. Fred was a jumpy kind of fellow and kind of rushed through the hot towels and final lather as he was eager to try his new razor. Everything went fine with the WTG on both sides, but when he got to the right side of my upper lip, another friend burst through the door, startled Fred, and that new C-Mon bit very deep into my upper lip. He took forever to stop the blood and offered to pay the bill for stitches. (it needed at least three, maybe more) I said no and that was a mistake. To this day I carry the scar. Fred and I live 1800 miles apart now , but when we talk on the phone we always laugh about that "Black Saturday". I have not cut "myself" ever, and I hope I never do. Best Regards and Happy Shaving, wildhog

Thanked: 0about a month and a half. Don't shave around dogs that have a penchant for nuzzling your arm when they feel attention deprived.
