    Awesome.

    The one I had my mitts on was only 19/16..... It took a good edge, but, I had to use 2 pieces of tape to do it -- the problem is, they are too wide for their spine thickness -- so, please, use tape when setting a bevel, it will likely save you 2-3 re-honings and some frustration

    I think I'm just going to send it to sham to do the honing. Wedges that need a bevel set have been giving me fits lately. Although, I am now thoroughly convinced that a Charnley Forest is the best to finish them on. I don't know why it works better than my eschers in these circumstances.

    Congrats! I saw that one and had a huge snipe on it, but to be honest I'm glad it was pulled. I really didn't need another meat cleaver and my bank account is probably happy. Sham will put a wonderful edge on this - enjoy!
