Wiso?
I need a little help. I was checking out some razors and i came across a Wiso "first class" razor. I've never heard of this brand, is it any good? Here is the only thing i can find on it. I highly doubt it's worth 250 of course, but this is just so you have an idea of what it looks like. It's in perfect condition. Any info would be great as i'm thinking about buying it. Thank you

That sure looks like one of the old Cutlery World razors, I had one with a "First Class" blade just like that, it was a perfectly fine razor. By "perfectly fine", I don't mean $250 fine, for that kind of money there are all sorts of better-known new, or virtually new vintage razors out there to buy.

I don't want to get in SRP hot water for offering valuations, but $35 is certainly a horse of a different color. These were well-made razors, on a level with base Dovos.

I fully understand SRP rules and just needed to get an idea of where they stood with other razors. Thank you for helping me out, maybe in a few days i'll post some photos :P If anyone else knows anything like age or anything about the company let me know. Thanks again

You certanly have to hone it or get it honed befor using it but after that I have no doubt that it will be a good shaver.
For $35 + $2,95 shipping - Buy it.

It's just from one of the small little known outfits. It's probably a typical Solingen razor. If you can get it for $35 I would certainly get it.

Right now i just collect(and fairly new)I would like to learn how to use them and plan on in the new future when i can pay someone to hone a few of them and buy a strop. This one i found at a small shop in a nearby town. I'm excited to get it, but disappoint i can't find any information on it. I'll get pics up around 9pm for y'all tonight if the shop still has it thanks

As promised...pics!
Well i picked up the Wiso i was telling y'all about. Got it for $30bucks with tax, super happy! This thing looks great and is in excellent shape other than one of the scales is slightly bent outwards, but nothing big. Looks like some of my dogs hair got in the pic...danget! Still looking for info on this razor though. Thanks!
