Thanked: 13245Santa, the Easter Bunny, Unicorns, Hen's Teeth and 7/8 American Steel !!!!
Yes they do exist,
This NOS NY Thistle Cutlery Co. was waiting for me in the mailbox tonight after work..
A full 7/8 of "Can't see a hone mark" of beautiful American steel. The entire razor looks to have never been used just a bit of MAAS and tapitytap on the pin and she is ready for the Shaptons...
When I saw it on e-bay I figured at least a 6/8 and was hoping for a 7/8 I honestly can't wait to shave this one tomorrow.. I saw one that JoeD found a while back and was rather jealous and I have restored maybe 1 or 2 more of these larger sized (6/8+) American blades, but they are rather rare to see...
Anyway here is my newest baby

Does that look suspiciously like a 6/8 to anyone else?
Does anyone else notice that this razor arrived (quite conveniently) the day after a meet where I could personally confirm its existence?
Well...if this does exist than I must say; "good find".
Ok, seriously. That is awesome that you found this and I can't wait to see this.
