Razor Storage?
What would be ideal to store my razors in to prevent them from damage and rust? I am looking for something that would allow the razors to breathe. If you have any segregations please let me know.

Avoid storing them in the bathroom or shave den.
I use felt and corduroy roll-ups that do allow them to breathe.
For longer term storage, something like Renaissance Wax resists rust.

I store the ones I use in a deerskin razor roll. There was a member here who sold me one last year, by the name of Golfnut. Great product and very affordable. Really depends how many you have. I never oil my razors, but the humidity differs geographically. If you were worried, simply apply a tiny bit of oil after you have wiped dry.

Thanked: 993I have a case that holds 14. It's an old ladies "glasses" case for on an end table, with a glass top. Anyway, I keep a small packet of silica gel in each little quadrant, and then put the razors in. No oil (I hate the feel), no rust......no worries.

Alembic Products Check that out. I just bought one, it was the best I found for all my needs and was also the only one I found for less than $80 . I found out about it in one of the forums here. Ill buy something else for display but this works greayt for now and holds up to 7 razors.

Thanked: 20+1 - Highly recommended.
The case includes a desiccant to absorb moisture and keep the razors from rusting. The only downside is that larger razors may not fit. There's an template available on the website that can be printed out to allow you to check your razor.
For everyday use, you may want to look into the silicone impregnated fabric sleeves available at The Superior Shave:
Sheaths, Cases, and Rolls for Straight Razors (at the bottom of the page).
For long term storage, use a good rust preventative compound like Tuf Glide:
