Wow nice start! That would be an awesome collection after a few years at it even let alone a month!

Im on it Doc! The two TI's were honed by you via vintage blades by the way. Im actually going to send a few of these your way in the next couple of days. The Filarmonicas were NOS so they have an old factory edge that needs to be bought up to shave ready status.

I live in south east Virginia and when that last big blow came ashore (Irene) I grabed the wife, kids, three dogs and mother-in-law and headed inland to Blacksburg. While we were there I found my first Str8 for $8.00 rusty, cracked scales, but str8. Since then sandpaper, drumle tool, $4.50 for a block of birds eye maple and a set of pins from Brad Maggard ($2.50 and about three days). I finished it just last night but in between times I found a place in Lightfoot and picked up another Str8 that needs some work, So to make this rant even longer You are not alone in this I got bit about 4 mounths ago and that dog is still attached. Now I'm thinking of restoring a Chair for the man cave, How fun would that be?!?.

Got pics of the bird's eye maple scales? I am a fan of that wood.

Man you don't mess around! Fillys, Ducks......some serious coin my friend. Beautiful start. As someone who loves to see history preserved, its always fun to see old blades restored and used.
I'm a sucker for a stamped tail. Giggity.

Cool trio, Omega. (Love the Romeo & Juliet, too!)

I've got RAD bad, too. Went on an eBay binge this weekend and just had three blades show up in the mail all at once today: Dovo bone-scaled, shoulderless Bismarck, a beautiful Genco Di Roma and a great Clauss with a big 6/8 square blade. Makes one regret that he has only one face to shave every day. (A Shumate is still in transit.)

The friend who introduced me to straight razor shaving warned me about RAD. He was right.
