You started feeding your RAD with a great taste, I have to say... I have not been so able, and bought a lot of crap in the first month...
Now I have refined my taste and decided to limit my collection in my way: I'm only interested in pre-1891 razors.
This doesn't mean that I don't appreciate your beauties, they are wonderful. I just don't want to spend my energies in that direction...

But I feel at ease enough, now, to advice you to "set your goal": I mean, if you decide what kind of razor can be good to you and what not, you will get much more fun and your RAD will turn, sooner or later, in a very good investment also: a valuable collection.

For example, you could decide that you want only razors that:
    - Come from a defined period
    - Are first class shavers
    - Are works of art
    - Have a particular history
    - have a defined shape
    - Are made from a defined kind of steel
    - Have some particular features that makes them unique or rare in the market of STR8s
... and so on. You could also want STR8S that have some (or all) of these features... It's up to you!

Building a collection is a form of art as well, IMHO. It has much to say about the collector, at least how much it has to say about his pieces!

I've got RAD bad, too. Went on an eBay binge this weekend and just had three blades show up in the mail all at once today: Dovo bone-scaled, shoulderless Bismarck, a beautiful Genco Di Roma and a great Clauss with a big 6/8 square blade. Makes one regret that he has only one face to shave every day. (A Shumate is still in transit.)

The friend who introduced me to straight razor shaving warned me about RAD. He was right.
Thanks ! yeah man Ebay is crazy Ive been lucky enough to catch some of these for great deals some times ill see 25-30 ppl bidding on one razor than others will have only one or two bidders and thats when I strike!

Agreed . Right now Im just getting things that I find attractive and want to shave with . once I have shaved with a few more ill be inclined to narrow it down. Im very fond of the TI's at this point.
On another note what can you tell me about the age/ history of these razors?

I can't tell you so much about your razors since most of them are out of my field... but you can search through the club section of this forum: no museum could ever be so complete! Also, you can follow the threads by antiquarians: there are many, and they are very skillful. Searching for info about your own pieces is a great way to improve your taste... enjoy it!
