    thanks for your input,whenever I try to Google the info there is one sales site that has the same blade,with the "8008" ground off with XXXX.Also get some Portugese stuff with the same name"Acier"(aparently a Portugese wine manuf.)so im'e thinking for the Portugese market.

    I'm guessing solingen made for french market, this side of the century. Around 1910-1940 perhaps?
    Acier superieur is french and means superior steel. Aimante means loved, or something along those lines.
    Looks to be a nice well made quality razor. I'm guessing it will be fun

    By the way Acier superieur aimante means Magnetize superior steel and not loved
