sold mine after a couple months. It was a new Dovo and I decided I hated it and wanted to go vintage. I keep wondering if I'd of liked it had I stuck with it until I became more proficient.

Yep, it's a 5/8 Bengall in bloodwood scales that I bought off the classifieds here back in April or May 2010. It's my Sunday razor. Not long after that, I bought a 6/8 Dovo Special from SRD. I still have it but don't use it regularly--it's my travel razor when I have to get on a plane (since it's replaceable) or I use it when one of my regular razors is out to be honed. After I got this one, I acquired six more vintage razors over the next several months, so now my 7-day "set" is all vintage. I think I kind of had RAD for a bit there, but once I got the 7 razors I wanted, I was done. I still look at the classifieds and at razors on eBay, but don't feel the urge to buy anything. Happy with what I have.

Yes. It is a Dovo 6/8 Special in tortoise. It was honed by Lynn. It is a fantastic shaving razor and it is in my regular rotation. Every time I use it I have fond memories of my first shave and the months of learning that followed.
