Thread: Applying oil to the blade following a shave

I simply put a drop of oil on each side and spread it with my finger swiping my finger from the back downward and off the edge of the blade.

I rinse the blade, then dry with the hand towel. Then strop. Before putting it up I wipe with my microcloth that is treated with some mineral oil. I also wipe the oil off before the initial strop before shaving.
