    Default Thiers-Issard Vs Revisor

Hard question, I know, but you guys know your stuff and might be able to help me decide. Which to buy, this Thiers-Issard or this Revisor? I love the toe on the Revisor and the logo, but I like the Thiers-Issard's look a lot. This would, in all seriousness, complete my set of six (a seven day set with a DE for Saturdays) and swapping or selling aside, would be the last razor I can really afford for a while.

Which would you get? the TI or the Revisor?

I love Spanish points, so that's the one I'd choose.
The T-I is nice too, so there is no wrong answer to this one.

The Revisor, you need a 6/8!

For the price on one TI you could get two Revisors.

I'd get the revisor, it likely is a better made razor.

I like the TI's shave and I like the Revisor's shave. IME, the TI's have taken a bit more toggling to get dialed in.

That being said, I also am a sucker for a round point.

What I WOULD do is look at the Revisor page for a round point with double stabilizers like the TI.....

But in the end, if those were the last two razors on earth (and thank goodness we're not there yet....!) I'd still choose the revisor, even after my statement about loving round points.

    My vote goes for Revisor.

Both are quality razors however though the workmanship on the TI could be an issue it is an entry level model for them compared to the Revisor which is a standard grade for them. Also Revisor is a new outfit as compared to TI which has been around a very long time. Personally I don't care for that model of TI. If you were talking one of their standard models I'd definitely get the TI over the Revisor. So it's kind of an apples and oranges thing here. Get what you like the best.
