    Real sorry to see that, lovely looking razor indeed. Gotta say I agree with gssixgun. Get honing, breathe some life back into it and use it the way it was intended and make it proud again. If I made that razor all those years back and knew of it's fate it would bring a tear to my eye!

    Three possibilities here: one-the edge was rusted and fell off, two-it's been banging around in the box and got rough treatment and damaged the edge or three-it was defective to begin with maybe a factory second.

    Either way when you try and rehone it you'll find out.

    I say it was self inflicted due to lack of use. Poor razor, born to shave but confined in a box. Not even in a display case, damn shame for such a fine razor.

    If you get it fixed use it!
