Lol !!! Now that's funny! I haver had to set the bevels on mine yet. I judge by your statement they have a notorious reputation?

They aren't difficult in skills required - beyond honing a smiling blade, but take forever.

The entire rest of the world (except Glen) loves Sheffields. I'm an oddball here. Members that send them for honing say they like the edges, but they never feel right on my face. Deaf & Dumb. Most have very little or no audible or tactile feedback.

If you've never tried one, you owe it to yourself. They're unique, and most people love them.
