I already sent the blade to Glen so I don't have better pics (these were from the ebay ad)

That is a more "modern" grind IXL. It will make an excellent shaver. Round pointed and with double stabilizers. I would say anything goes. Bone would be nice.
While we are here with this pic, see the top-heavy fraction on the razors scale? I have seen those numerous times. I suspect that was how honemeisters remembered the necessary strokes on coarse and fine hones. Any ideas?"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

When you say "Modern" you mean early to mid 1900's or still possible late 1800's?
Just curious, I bought this because it was CHEAP and I really wanted a Wustenholm, and it just feels right, once Glen puts new scales on it and shines/hones her up I expect she will be a fun shaver

Possible late 1800's. The box says England as I suspect the tang does. Post 1891. Could be 30 years newer though. The style is of later Wostenhom.

I rest my case.

Ah well, would have been nice if it was 1800's but either way I've wanted a Wostenholm for a while so it was a good purchase...(Gotta feed the RAD somehow LOL)

Well, I got the razor back today and once again am impressed with the work Glen does I went with Horn (Glen had a set that happened to fit )
I present for your viewing pleasure, the finished Wustenholm
Note: I did not take these pics, Glen sent them to me after he finished working his magic on this beauty before he shipped it back to me
