The factory edge was pretty good on mine also. Last week I didn't dry it well enough apparently and I got a very small pit.

You could barely see it, but this is my only NOS so it bothered me. It bothered me a LOT.

I took some 2000 to it and got the pit out. I honed it on Sunday and shaved with it this morning. Much improved!

What really surprises me is the difference in weight between it and my King Cutter. I really can't make up my mind which I like better yet, but the experience is very different. The Case is the lightest of all my razors and is more like a sports car compared to the Kings truck.

The end result of the shave is about the same (probably because both were honed by me ), but getting there is different and fun.
