I cut two bits of wood - rounded them, covered them with crazy glue, and then crazy glued them on to the handle. Then I went to "Hobby Lobby" and bought "waxed leather twine" and wrapped it over the wood.
I'll have to take a photo, but take my word for it - it looks great.
Man I can't remember what it's called, but the traditional wrapping is almost like a whicker type thing - maybe someone will know what I am talking about. You'll need to soak that if you get some.

Oh and just be careful - though it may be obvious - don't use anything that isn't at least water resistant. Rust isn't your freind!Last edited by earcutter; 03-02-2012 at 04:08 AM.
