Scales for W&B
So per a previous post, I picked up a Curley NY "Aristos" Wade & Butcher
(Saturday of a seven day set) for $8.00 at a local swap meet. What are my rescaling options? I really want to go period correct on it. The blade is being restored at The Sharpening Shack in Chula Vista, Ca."The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it's natural manure."

Do you have any pictures of the blade you can post? As for rescaling, check out the classifieds and I'm sure you'll find a member who can complete the job.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

Here is a picture of the W&B. It is the one on the top.

I almost always like to see the W&B in horn. That's all personal, but just wanted to add that.

Thanked: 13245The scales in the pic look to be Bakelight, but that is just a WAG from the shape and the wedge...
What is the "Sharpening Shack" and did you ask specifically if the person there shaves daily with a SR ???? That is the fastest way of knowing their experience with them...

Matt at the Sharpening Shack does shave with a straight and so far his work has been flawless.

I think I would want to go with horn and the bullseye pins. Where can I find these?
