    Default High Humidity, Rust Problem?

Maybe this is already pretty well-known. If not, here goes... If you live in an area that is very humid, and you’re worrying about your razor rusting, you can store your razor in an airtight container (like a zip lock bag) along with a block of camphor. The camphor emits invisible fumes that cover the blade and protect it against rust. You can buy small, square blocks of camphor from a drugstore. The blocks come enclosed in a plastic wrap. Take and slice an ‘X’ in the plastic to allow the fumes to escape. Throw both the camphor block and the razor in an airtight container. The camphor lasts a long time. Slowly it will decrease in size until it disappears, at which time you must replace it. Hope this helps. I used to live in Florida and I used this method to keep my wood working tools fresh and rust free.
