    I highly reccomend the Steam Method on those,, and use the gentle over the pot of water method, not the Shot-o-Steam iron those Impy scales are notoriously fragile..

    One thing I have done that works most of the time (will need to be totally unpinned) is to use a hotplate set at 150 degs.
    lay the scales on it,than put a 5 lb bag of lead shot on top of them.You could most likely do the same with a cast iron pan in the oven,let then set for a few hrs,has worked well in the past.
