Thanked: 33So since it's such a great option, I am glad I re-magnetized two old blades. Sure it may have been a gimmick, but the old Petty and sons Sheffield "Real Magnet Razor," is remagnetized and ready to fend off those nasty suckers! (Had to kill an old speaker to do it, but it worked like a charm)

Thanked: 2027Actually we use strong magnets to turn pacemakers off for external re-programing.

Actually it's a known fact as you shave the magnetic attraction pulls the hemoglobin up to the surface making your whiskers stand up better for that effortless shave. You know it works because if you nick yourself and put the razor near the nick the blood just spews out all over the place. Yes that's why the Guillotine has a magnetic blade. Back in the day they sold special pre-shave containing negatively charged particles that adhered to your whiskers which enhanced the magnetic effect of the razor action on your beard.
What don't believe me?
