Thanked: 1195I bought a Boker a few years ago at a flea market that hadn't see active duty in decades and it still shaved arm hair like a champ. I was tempted to try a shave with it, but I chickened out and decided to start over again with a bevel reset lol.
Congrats on the G&F, looks like a fine addition to your collection.

Thanked: 884Nice looking razor.
I got an old Taylor's "Eye Witness" 6/8 a while back, stropped it and shaved with it.
They're out there, but few and far between.

Thanked: 46The older G@F's were quality razors, and make very nice shavers. Yours, being a vintage G@F with more of a near wedge or 1/4 grind will have a edge that is not as delicate as a full hollow and probally held up well after it;s last honing. Every once in awile you will find one like this, and it is a real pleasure when you do. Very Best, John

Thanked: 1371I have yet to find an antique shop razor in shave-ready condition (or near-shave ready).
Congrats on your find!
